Terms of Service

By accessing or using NeurotechMag Pro ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us"), you ("Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract.

NeurotechMag Pro is a business intelligence platform aggregating research papers, news articles, funding rounds, clinical trials, patents, and company data relevant to the neurotechnology industry. The Service includes AI-generated summaries, keyword alerts, exportable reports, and other tools intended to support professional research and decision-making.

The Service is provided "as is". We continuously refine our data sources, AI models, and feature set. We do not guarantee completeness, real-time accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Information presented on the Platform must not be relied upon as medical, legal, investment, or regulatory advice.

Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed at USD $49 per seat per month through our payment processor, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), who acts as the merchant of record for all transactions and is responsible for tax collection where applicable.

Subscriptions auto-renew on a monthly basis until cancelled. You authorise us, via Paddle, to charge your selected payment method on each renewal date. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period — you will retain full access to the Service until that date, after which your account will be downgraded. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.

Existing paid subscribers to the NeurotechMag Substack newsletter may request complimentary access to NeurotechMag Pro by submitting their Substack subscriber email through the onboarding flow.

Such claims are verified manually at our discretion. We reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke complimentary access at any time, including where we determine that a claim cannot be verified, that the underlying Substack subscription has lapsed, or that the offer is being abused. Approval typically takes up to 24 hours, but we make no commitment to a specific turnaround time.

Complimentary access is non-transferable and tied to a single user account.

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:

• Scrape, crawl, or extract data in bulk from the Service by any automated means, including headless browsers, scripts, or screen-scraping tools;
• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit any data, AI summaries, reports, or other content obtained through the Service;
• Share account credentials or grant access to your seat to any individual other than the registered user;
• Use the Service to build a competing product, derivative dataset, or AI training corpus;
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security mechanisms, alert quotas, or export caps;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice, and may pursue any other remedies available under law.

All AI-generated summaries, classifications, tags, scores, dashboards, reports, and other derivative works produced by the Service are the intellectual property of NeurotechMag. They are licensed to you for your internal business use during your active subscription, and may not be republished, redistributed, or used to train third-party AI models.

Source content (papers, news articles, patents, trial registry entries, etc.) remains the property of its original publishers and authors. NeurotechMag aggregates and links to this material under fair use, fair dealing, and similar principles. We provide source URLs on every item — please consult original sources for full rights and licensing terms.

The NeurotechMag name, logo, and visual identity are trademarks of NeurotechMag. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described there.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeurotechMag, its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI summaries are factually accurate.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription from your account settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your access ends at the conclusion of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or otherwise misused the Service. Sections 5 (Acceptable Use), 6 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Limitation of Liability), and any other provisions that by their nature should survive termination, will survive.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.

Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, your sole remedy is to cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
